Rates and Reservations

The Observatory House offers 14 rooms of accommodation. Reservations in advance are required in all cases. To reserve a room, phone Thoth's booking line 1 (905) 713-2884. Or, send an email with your requested dates and the number of people in your party to: aro@thoth.ca.

Visitor Packages

Try one of our all-inclusive observatory experience packages.

Our two-night Observatory experience packages are $265 (per person based on single room occupancy); $225 (per person based on double occupancy). Rates include two nights accommodation, dining plan, and observatory tour but excludes HST tax and Parks vehicle permit ($12/vehicle/day).

Please note that the Observatory's operations schedule makes it possible to accommodate visitors only at certain times.

Rates

Our rates are in Canadian dollars excluding taxes and are for room only per night. Use of observatory recreational facilities is included. Information on meal-plan options is provided below. A deposit of $70 per person is required in order to confirm a reservation. Special rates are available for students and seniors. Visitors to the Park should also obtain a provincial park daily use permit ($11.85/vehicle/day) from the Sand Lake Gate entrance. The Observatory has no camping facilities. Meal Plan (per Person)

The Observatory meal plan is $44.95/person/day plus HST and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Observatory. Picnic lunches can be provided on request. Visitors are advised that the nearest restaurants or stores are at least 75 km away by road. The observatory does not serve alcoholic beverages . however, overnight guests may bring their own beverages with no corkage fees levied. The Observatory has no self-catering facilities.

Observatory Tours

Our knowledgeable staff provide a 90 minute tour of the Observatory antenna site and instrumentation. Get a behind the scenes look at the Observatory operations. Tours are $15 per person (a minimum of 5 persons are required for tour bookings except tours for residents or the posted public tour dates).
